Abe finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Abe lost 7-6 to Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL), then responded with a 10-1 win over Brandt Holt (Sherwood Park, AB). Abe won 9-2 against Adams in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3, Abe take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN prize.
