Young finished 3-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young defeated Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC) 7-0, then went on to lose 6-5 against Purcell. Young responded with a 7-6 win over Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Young went on to lose 6-3 against Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON). Young responded with a 10-7 win over Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Young earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic. For week 5 of the event schedule, Young did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Young ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
