Kleiter/Kleiter finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter/Kleiter defeated Sydney Libbus/Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) 11-5, then won 9-7 against Zheng/Pietrangelo and 10-2 against Cheryl Damen/Tyler van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB). Kleiter/Kleiter won 7-3 against British Columbia's Megan McGillivray/Logan Miron, then won 8-7 against Alberta's Catherine Clifford/Desmond Young in their final qualifying round match.
