Gushulak/Prade Reaches 2022 WCT Victoria Mixed Doubles Cashspiel Semifinals

Diane Gushulak/Patrick Prade (New Westminster, BC) run at the 2022 WCT Victoria Mixed Doubles Cashspiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Emily Bowles/Sterling Middleton (Victoria, BC).

Gushulak/Prade finished 4-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushulak/Prade defeated Courtney Woo/Daniel Wenzek (Victoria, BC) 12-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Gushulak/Prade won 10-8 against Cotter/Cotter to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 10-0 against Sasha Wilson/Alex Horvath (Victoria, BC) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 8-4 win over Chou/Liu to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
