ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) lost 11-3 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships, held October 31 - November 5, 2022 in Calgary, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jeong won 9-6 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, USA) in the semifinals of the 2023 Pan-Continental Championships in Calgary, Canada;
 
Jeong finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jeong defeated Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) 7-5, then won 10-3 against Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) and 10-6 against Dropkin. Jeong went on to lose 11-3 against Gushue. Jeong responded with a 11-5 win over Chinese Taipei's Randie Shen. Jeong won 10-1 against Marcelo Mello (Sao Paolo, BRA), then won 9-4 against Jay Merchant (Melbourne, AUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Pan-Continental Championships, Jeong take home 27.500 world rankings points. Jeong move up 26 spots after posting a net gain of 23.934 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 36th overall with 86.635 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Jeong ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 72.375 points earned so far this season.
