In their opening game, Just/Deis lost 9-0 to Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) where Just/Deis responded with a 8-7 win over Erin Butler/Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
