After advancing directly to the championship game, Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) lost 6-5 to Aaron Van Ryssel (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Summer Spiel, held August 20 - 21, 2022 in Morris, Manitoba.

Freeman finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Freeman defeated Hunter Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) 5-1, then won 5-3 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND) and 7-1 against Zach Norris (Morris, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Freeman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
