Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL) lost 8-7 to Heather Strong (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Bally Haly Cash Spiel, held November 3 - 6, 2022 at the Bally Haly Golf and Curling Club in St. John's, Canada.
 
Mitchell finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mitchell defeated Strong 7-6, then won 8-2 against Cailey Locke (St. John's, NL). Mitchell went on to lose 7-4 against Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL). Mitchell lost 9-1 to Strong where Mitchell responded with a 6-5 win over Curtis. Mitchell won 9-2 against Locke in their final qualifying round match.
