Brandon Tippin (Bala, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-0 against Landan Rooney (Whitby, ON). Foster responded with a 5-3 win over Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON). Foster won 6-3 against Carter Bryant (Guelph , ON) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 10-8 against Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they lost 6-3 to Alex Champ (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Foster earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Foster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Foster ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
