Ting-Li Lin (Taiwan, TPE) finished 1-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lin lost 10-2 to Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Ben Pearce (Alliston, ON) where Lin responded with a 7-5 win over Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON). Lin went on to lose 8-2 against Pearce in their final qualifying round match.
