Sinclair/Whyte finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair/Whyte defeated Maia Ramsfjell/Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) 7-5, then won 7-6 against Gina Aitken/Grant Hardie (Stirling, SCO).
