Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) run at the 2022 Bogside Cup came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-3 loss to Christina Black (Halifax, NS).

MacDiarmid finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDiarmid defeated Tanya Hilliard (Dartmouth, NS) 8-5, then won 7-4 against Sarah Murphy (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid went on to lose 5-4 against Marlee Powers (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid responded with a 6-5 win over Suzanne Birt (Summerside, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDiarmid earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Bogside Cup. For week 19 of the event schedule, MacDiarmid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDiarmid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
