Christina Black (Halifax, NS) won 7-1 over Marlee Powers (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Bogside Cup, held December 9 - 11, 2022 at the Montague Curling Club in Montague, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Black won 9-3 over Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals
 
Black finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black defeated Jennifer Crouse (Halifax, NS) 10-6, then won 7-0 against Samantha Crook (Sackville, NB) and 9-1 against Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS). Black won 9-3 against Prince Edward Island's Melissa Morrow in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Bogside Cup Championship title, Black earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN first prize cheque. Black move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 1.936 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 149.944 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Black ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 99.500 points earned so far this season.
