Popowich/Johnson Reaches 2022 Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge Quarters

Kailee Popowich/Trevor Johnson (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2022 Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-0 against Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). of the 2022 Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge in Martensville, Saskatchewan;

Popowich/Johnson finished 2-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Popowich/Johnson defeated Taylor Stremick/Cody Sutherland (Saskatoon, SK) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-1 against Ashley Thevenot/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK). Popowich/Johnson responded with a 8-3 win over Sherry Just/Dean Grindheim (Prince Albert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Popowich/Johnson earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge. For week 20 of the event schedule, Popowich/Johnson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
