To advance to the championship game, Hiebert won 8-4 over Matthew Perozak (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Red Deer Servus U18 Men in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada;
 
Hiebert finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hiebert defeated Brady Johnson (Red Deer, AB) 8-0, then won 8-6 against Perozak. Hiebert went on to lose 9-5 against Davies. Hiebert responded with a 8-3 win over Alberta's Peter Hlushak in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hiebert ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
