To advance to the championship game, Carss won 7-2 over Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2022 Curling Stadium Regina Highland SCT Spiel in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 8-7 over Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Curling Stadium Regina Highland SCT Spiel in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Carss finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carss defeated Steven Howard (Regina, SK) 1-0, then won 5-4 against Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK) and 8-3 against Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Regina Highland SCT Spiel Championship title, Carss earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,220CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Carss did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Carss ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
