Delaney Strouse (Minneapolis , MN) finished 4-0 in the 3-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strouse defeated Miranda Scheel (Eau Claire, WI) 10-4, then won 10-1 against Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) and 7-1 against Scheel. Strouse won 9-4 against McMakin in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA World University Games Playdown Championship title, Strouse earned 3.750 world rankings points, remaining in 54th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.125 after improving upon their best so far this season. Strouse ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.250 points earned so far this season.
