Sarah Murphy (Halifax, NS) lost 7-0 to Suzanne Birt (Summerside, PEI) in the Final of the Superstore Lady Monctonian, held October 28 - 30, 2022 in Moncton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Murphy won 7-6 over Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Superstore Lady Monctonian in Moncton, New Brunswick; and won 5-4 over Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Superstore Lady Monctonian in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Murphy finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Murphy lost 7-5 to Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI), then responded with a 6-1 win over Black. Murphy won 5-3 against New Brunswick's Laurie Dohaher, then won 8-4 against Brigitte MacPhail (Iqaluit, NU) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Superstore Lady Monctonian, Murphy take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Murphy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Murphy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
