Chang lost 7-6 to Rayad Husain (Georgetown, GUY) in the semifinals to drop into the third place game.
 
Chang finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chang defeated Lajos Belleli (Doha, QAT) 8-3, then won 14-2 against Alastair Fyfe (Riyadh, KSA) and 7-6 against Zhumagozha. Chang won 11-4 against P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN), then won 16-4 against Oliver Echenje (Nairobi, KEN) and 12-2 against Harold Woods (Accra, NGR). Chang won 8-5 against Husain in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their third place finish at the Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division, Chang earn 4.250 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Chang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Chang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
