Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX) lost 8-7 to Chinese Taipei's Heidi Lin in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division, held October 31 - November 6, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Camarena won 13-1 over Purity Njuguna (Nairobi, KEN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division in Calgary, Alberta;
Camarena finished 4-2 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Camarena defeated Njuguna 10-3, then won 13-1 against Anteequa Washington (Accra, NGR). Camarena went on to lose 9-6 against Chinese Taipei's Heidi Lin. Camarena responded with a 11-3 win over Njuguna. Camarena won 17-1 against Washington. Camarena went on to lose 8-5 against Chinese Taipei's Heidi Lin in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division, Camarena take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Camarena did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Camarena ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
