Mark Tolvstad (Aberdeen, SD) lost 8-2 to Nick Myers (Irving, TX) in the Final of the USA Curling Arena National Championships, held November 3 - 6, 2022 in Eveleth, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Tolvstad won 7-4 over Jeremiah Malerich (San Jose, CA) in the semifinals
 
Tolvstad finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tolvstad defeated Michael Blazing (Rochester, MN) 9-5, then won 9-7 against John Negus (Cleveland, OH) and 8-5 against Michael Allison (St. Louis, MO). Tolvstad won 9-3 against Cornell Brown (Park City, UT) in their final qualifying round match.
