Krysta Burns (Sudbury, NONT) qualified for the 2022 Home Again Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON).

Burns finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burns defeated Susan Froud (Alliston, ON) 7-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT). Burns responded with a 8-7 win over Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Burns earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Home Again Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 69th place overall with 45.455 total points. Burns ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.750 points earned so far this season.
