Burgess finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burgess defeated Luke Robins (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, then won 7-5 against Zach Norris (Morris, MB). Burgess went on to lose 4-3 against Freeman in their final qualifying round match.
