In their opening game, Kajanova lost 7-4 to Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin (Ljubljana, SLO), then responded with a 9-7 win over Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Kajanova won 8-6 against Caro van Oosterwyck (Zemst, BEL), then won 8-7 against Lydia Valles (San-Sebastian, ESP). Kajanova went on to lose 9-3 against Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST). Kajanova lost 7-6 to Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG). Kajanova lost 6-4 to Marijke Reitsma (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Kajanova lost 8-3 to Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). Kajanova lost 10-2 to Kaldvee. Kajanova lost 8-6 to Farnell. Kajanova lost 13-1 to Alzbeta Zelingrova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Kajanova earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Kajanova did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kajanova ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
