Smith won 7-1 against Angelica Perez (Mexico City, MEX), then won 11-2 against Iulia Traila (Bucharest, ROU) and 8-3 against Adela Walczak (Lodz, POL) in their final qualifying round match.

Smith earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event. For week 19 of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smith ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
