Laura Beever (Hawarden, WAL) finished 2-4 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Beever defeated
April Gale Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR) 6-2, then went on to lose 8-5 against Mintaute Jurkute (Vilnius, LTU). Beever lost 8-7 to Kseniya Shevchuk (Megeve, FRA). Beever lost 7-6 to Amanda Chou (Taipei City, TPE). Beever lost 4-3 to Tingyu Su (Beijing, CHN) where Beever responded with a 7-5 win over Richa Patel (Hyderabad, IN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Beever earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Beever did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Beever ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
