To advance to the championship game, Rajala won 6-5 over Glen MacLeod (Windsor, NS) in the semifinals
 
Rajala finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rajala defeated Wes Craig (Nanaimo, BC) 6-3, then won 8-6 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 9-1 against Peter Mackey (Iqaluit, NU). Rajala went on to lose 6-4 against MacLeod. Rajala responded with a 7-5 win over Terry Miller (Whitehorse, YK). Rajala won 7-5 against Francois Roberge (Levis, QC). Rajala went on to lose 7-4 against Randy Neufeld (La Salla, MB). Rajala responded with a 8-2 win over Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Rajala won 7-5 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Rajala went on to lose 7-6 against Pahl in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rajala ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
