Cormier won 7-2 against Sandy Comeau (Moncton, NB). Cormier went on to lose 9-7 against Terry Ursel (Neepawa, MB). Cormier lost 7-3 to Shelly Bradley (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
