Manuel finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Manuel defeated Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) 8-4, then won 8-5 against Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Manuel went on to lose 9-3 against Travis Colter (Halifax, NS). Manuel responded with a 6-4 win over Bryce Everist (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Manuel earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Superstore Monctonian Challenge.
