Emily Clark (Westlock, AB) finished 4-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Clark defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 9-5, then won 12-4 against Adele Purcell (Edmonton, AB). Clark went on to lose 9-6 against Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB). Clark responded with a 10-1 win over Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB). Clark won 7-4 against Claire Booth (Sherwood Park, AB). Clark went on to lose 9-6 against Kellie Stiksma (Sherwood Park, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Clark earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Clark did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Clark ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
