Adam Fenton (New Westminster, BC) finished 3-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenton lost 7-6 to Zane Bartlett (Victoria, BC), droppimg another game, 9-4 to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) where Fenton responded with a 9-2 win over Denis Sutton (Victoria, BC). Fenton won 7-1 against Trevor Ritchie (Vancouver, BC), then won 10-7 against Bartlett in their final qualifying round match.

Fenton earned 3.625 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the BC Tankard Open Qualifier. For week 19 of the event schedule, Fenton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
