Kyle McCannell (Pilot Mound, MB) finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCannell lost 10-7 to Grant Shewfelt (Baldur, MB), then responded with a 10-3 win over Dean North (Carman, MB). McCannell went on to lose 11-9 against Anthony Friesen (Pilot Mound, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
