Steve Pauls (Pilot Mound, MB) finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pauls defeated Dean North (Carman, MB) 11-5, then won 8-1 against Grant Shewfelt (Baldur, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
