Mathieu Paquet (Saguenay, QC) lost 4-2 to Steven Munroe (Saquenay, QC) in the Final of the Finale du Circuit, held December 2 - 4, 2022 at the Aurèle Racine Curling Club in Tracy, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Paquet won 6-3 over Alexandre Leduc (Valleyfield, QC) in the semifinals
 
Paquet finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paquet lost 6-5 to Munroe, then responded with a 8-2 win over Quebec's Nicholas Gosselin. Paquet won 6-5 against Zackary Wise (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Finale du Circuit, Paquet take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 18 of the event schedule, Paquet did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Paquet ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
