Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska , MN) won 6-5 over Cory Thiesse/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the Final of the Southern Mixed Doubles, held December 28 - 30, 2022 at the Charlotte Curling Association in Charlote, United States. To advance to the championship game, Anderson/Richardson won 5-3 over Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Minneapolis, MN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States; and won 8-3 over Nicole Bookhout/Dan Wiza (Madison, WI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States;

Anderson/Richardson finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Anderson/Richardson defeated Erin Dunphy/Christopher Adams (Cincinnati, OH) 12-4, then won 6-3 against Casey DenHartigh/Matthew Kenlan (Charlotte, NC) and 9-4 against Harley Rohrbacher/Vincent Scebbi (Cleveland, OH). Anderson/Richardson won 8-3 against Bookhout/Wiza in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Southern Mixed Doubles Championship title, Anderson/Richardson earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $2,051CDN first prize cheque, dropping 16 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 564th place overall with 26.891 total points. Anderson/Richardson ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.252 points earned so far this season.
