John Shuster (Duluth, MN) won 8-3 over Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling National Championships, held February 5 - 13, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.

Shuster finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster lost 10-6 to Jason Smith (Nashville, TN), then responded with a 8-7 win over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). Shuster won 10-3 against Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO), then won 8-3 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). Shuster went on to lose 10-3 against Casper. Shuster responded with a 6-3 win over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Shuster won 6-4 against Rich Ruohonen (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Curling National Championships Championship title, Shuster earned 41.250 world rankings points.
