In their opening game, Dunnam defeated Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) 8-4, then won 9-5 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) and 9-3 against Jason Smith (Nashville, TN). Dunnam went on to lose 8-3 against John Shuster (Duluth, MN). Dunnam responded with a 9-4 win over Rich Ruohonen (Chaska, MN). Dunnam won 7-1 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). Dunnam went on to lose 8-2 against Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Dunnam earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USA Curling National Championships.
