Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McMakin lost 7-6 to Kim Rhyme (St. Paul, MN), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Madison Bear (Chaska, MN). McMakin lost 8-6 to Delaney Strouse (Minneapolis , MN) where McMakin responded with a 9-5 win over Miranda Scheel (Eau Claire, WI). McMakin went on to lose 11-3 against Sarah Anderson (Chaska, MN). McMakin responded with a 11-9 win over Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND). McMakin went on to lose 10-5 against Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

McMakin earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, McMakin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McMakin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
