Jaedon Miller (Saskatoon, SK) 5-3, then went on to lose 10-8 against Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK). Heistad lost 9-2 to Scott Manners (Lloydminster, SK) where Heistad responded with a 10-2 win over Brandon Zuravloff (Canora, SK). Heistad won 8-5 against Miller. Heistad went on to lose 10-2 against Cody Sutherland (North Battleford, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Heistad earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Heistad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Heistad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
