Josh Heidt (Kerrobert , SK) finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt defeated Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK) 5-2, then won 9-5 against Brandon Zuravloff (Canora, SK). Heidt went on to lose 8-5 against Logan Ede (Saskatoon, SK). Heidt responded with a 9-5 win over Scott Manners (Lloydminster, SK). Heidt won 8-2 against Cody Sutherland (North Battleford, SK) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 7-1 against Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the SaskTel Tankard Last Chance, Heidt take home 11.000 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Heidt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Heidt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
