Cody Sutherland (North Battleford, SK) finished 4-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . Sutherland won 8-7 against Brandon Zuravloff (Canora, SK), then won 9-3 against Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK). Sutherland went on to lose 8-2 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert , SK). Sutherland responded with a 10-2 win over Brayden Heistad (Saskatoon, SK) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 9-3 against Kalthoff in their final qualifying round match.

Sutherland earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Sutherland did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sutherland ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
