King went on to lose 10-5 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB). King responded with a 10-9 win over Rob Johnson (Calgary, AB). King went on to lose 8-4 against Kozak. King lost 9-1 to Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

King earned 1.688 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, King did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. King ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
