Warren Kozak (Calgary, AB) finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kozak defeated Kevin Tym (Edmonton, AB) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-6 against Jamie King (St. Albert, AB). Kozak responded with a 7-6 win over Evan Crough (Okotoks, AB). Kozak won 8-5 against Kinley Burton (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-4 against King and 12-7 against Parker Konschuh (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Boston Pizza Cup Qualiifier, Kozak take home 8.250 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Kozak did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kozak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
