To advance to the championship game, Johnson won 7-2 over Claire Viau (Stevens Point, WI) in the semifinals
 
Johnson finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnson lost 6-3 to Bella Hagenbuch (Utica, IL), then responded with a 8-2 win over Sophia Ryhorchuk (St. Paul, MN). Johnson won 4-3 against North Dakota's Gracia Berg in their final qualifying round match.
