To advance to the championship game, Scheel won 6-2 over Bella Hagenbuch (Utica, IL) in the semifinals of the 2023 USA Curling U21 National Qualifier in Fargo, North Dakota, United States;
 
Scheel finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheel defeated North Dakota's Demerie Black 9-2, then won 6-3 against Anna Tamboli (Duluth, MN). Scheel went on to lose 6-5 against Claire Viau (Stevens Point, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scheel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
