Mackenzie Kiemele (Toronto, ON) finished 2-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kiemele defeated Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) 11-5, then went on to lose 8-1 against Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON). Kiemele responded with a 9-5 win over Emily Lindsay (Orleans, ON). Kiemele went on to lose 10-4 against Abby Deschene (Acton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Kiemele earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Kiemele did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kiemele ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
