In their opening game, Doyon defeated Alexandre Leduc (Valleyfield, QC) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Doyon lost 8-5 to Quebec's Pascal Girard. Doyon lost 7-6 to Frederic Lawton (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
