Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) lost 9-8 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, held January 18 - 22, 2023 at the Co-op Place in Wetaskawin, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Scheidegger won 11-3 over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties in Wetaskawin, Alberta, Canada;

Scheidegger finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Lisa Parent (Calgary, AB) 8-5, then won 9-3 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) and 11-9 against Kellie Stiksma (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger went on to lose 9-3 against Skrlik. Scheidegger responded with a 6-4 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger won 7-2 against Sturmay, then won 6-3 against Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, Scheidegger take home 19.250 world rankings points, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.75 after improving upon their best so far this season.
