Skrlik won 9-3 against Scheidegger, then won 8-4 against Kellie Stiksma (Edmonton, AB) and 11-4 against Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB). Skrlik won 7-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties Championship title, Skrlik earned 26.250 world rankings points.
