Marks responded with a 5-3 win over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Marks earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Marks did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 36th place on the World Ranking Standings with 100.341 total points.
